Designed for employees in the service industry, including hotels, restaurants, and cafés, this workshop will be conducted in English.
To strengthen the visitor experience in the Faroe Islands by developing skills of those who interact directly with guests.
The workshops focus on turning everyday interactions into meaningful moments – creating personal, authentic and memorable guest experiences at every stage of the guest journey.
Two half-day workshops, from 12:30-16:30:
The workshops draw on principles from Hospitality Theory and the Experience Economy, with a strong focus on practical application.
Participants will learn to:

The workshops are built around four key qualities that shape memorable hospitality:

Richard Mortensen
Cand.Merc.
Richard M. Mortensen has 18 years of teaching experience at Glasir, where he has taught subjects including Marketing and Customer Experience. He also has extensive international experience as a Management Consultant, specialising in leadership, strategy, and marketing. Throughout his career, Richard has held leadership positions at Føroya Tele, Elektron, and, most recently, MEST, where he has been part of the management team for the past 11 years.

The cource will be held at the Business College building (opposite of Glasir), Janusargøta 2, Tórshavn.
The course will start at 12.30 in the red Business College building, room 771. Afternoon coffee and cake will be served at approximatly 14.30.
